Milestone Wall Display

In 1799, 101 leaders of Maryland’s medical profession from nearly every county convened to hear whether their petition for a charter for an incorporated society of physicians had been approved. This was the beginning of the Maryland State Medical Society (MedChi), an advocate and resource for physicians, patients, and public health. Today, MedChi speaks on behalf of over 22,000 licensed physicians in the state, across more than 50 medical specialties. We designed and built a milestone wall that shares MedChi’s story with staff and visitors and conveys its impact on the medical community–both locally and nationwide.
