Exhibit Builder/Cabinet Maker

Novak Birch is looking for a full-time, experienced custom display/exhibit builder to support various types of custom display construction.

Responsibilities 

  • Fabricate a wide variety of trade show exhibits, commercial office interior installations, custom signage, retail sales displays, and more.
  • Work alongside other builders and the shop manager to create unique solutions for our clients. 
  • Follow drawings and designs to fabricate displays and exhibits. 
  • Potential onsite install and set up, including travel.

Requirements 

  • Experience as a cabinet maker or exhibit builder is preferred. 
  • Expert working knowledge of shop tools, laminating, finishing, and assembly. 
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Ability to work and thrive in a team atmosphere as well as to focus and work independently. 
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task on projects with both shifting and competing deadlines.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. 
  • CAD experience is a plus. 
  • CNC router experience preferred.
  • All candidates must have a valid driver’s license.

This is a full-time, year-round position in a shop environment, with some overtime required.

Pay starts at $35/hour based on experience.
