A Day in the Life: IPW Is Back

In-person events and trade shows are back, and we couldn’t be happier! Last month, the Novak Birch team traveled to Las Vegas to support our longtime clients Brand USA, their federal partners, and New Jersey Travel & Tourism at the U.S. Travel Association’s IPW—the travel industry’s premier international marketplace.

We’re no strangers to IPW (here we are at IPW 2018 in Denver), but this year, it was especially great to see the industry safely reunite to conduct business and renew relationships around the world.

Hello, Las Vegas!

Show Time

NB planned, designed, fabricated, and on-site managed THREE show-stopping exhibits—one for each of our clients attending IPW. Here are some highlights:

Safety First

Health and safety were important components to safely welcome attendees back to IPW this year. While attendees were required to wear masks, maintain social distancing, participate in temperature checks, and show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test, NB implemented additional features in our booths to promote a safe and comfortable environment. These included hand sanitation stations throughout the exhibit spaces as well as QR code wall scanners and floor decals to provide a touchless experience.

All Things Digital

NB also provided digital support and enhancements for Brand USA’s IPW luncheon and press conference by creating custom videos, incorporating gobo lights and stage lighting, and planning and managing rehearsals with the IPW events/lighting team.

Bright Lights, Endless Possibilities

When we weren’t on the show floor, we enjoyed exploring The Strip, sampling local food, and marveling at the seemingly endless neon city lights.

The return of IPW was a great success for all three of our clients, and we can’t wait for the next show (scheduled for June 2022 in Orlando) and the new adventures that come with it!
